Influenster Marketing &
Influenster is a product discovery and reviews platform that has over 30 million user-generated reviews, second only behind Amazon. Part of the success of the platform has been gained by activating its members to generate unbiased reviews by sending them free products to test, in what is called a VoxBox, and post about on social media, generating awareness for Influenster and the brands it partners with. These brands include mass beauty brands from Rimmel to Covergirl, luxury brands like Jason Wu and Smashbox, and food brands like Hershey's. In addition to designing VoxBox campaigns, I create email and advertisements for Influenster and its clients.
Influenster CashBack launched in November 2018 as part of an ongoing partnership with EBates. I designed on-site ads and emails to get our members excited and tell them about the program. These ads performed at a 100% better click-through rate than Influentser's previous ads.
TYPE OF WORK
INSPIRING USER ENGAGEMENT
In order to inspire members to review and post about the products they have been given, I have been tasked with designing engaging unboxing experiences that include the box itself as well as postcards or brochures that tell users about the products and the steps they need to complete for their campaign. I work with account managers and the brand to produce the brand specific designs.
SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT
The VoxBoxes and postcards that I have designed have been delivered to tens of thousands of Influenster members and have generated thousands of impressions. These are some examples of user-generated content (UGC) featuring materials that I designed.
INFLUENSTER REVIEW ADS
As one of Influenster's B2B offerings, I design review ads that feature member reviews from Influenster.com. These ads run on Facebook and Instagram, as well as on and off-site. In 2018 Influenster rebranded and needed updated artwork for their ads. I redesigned the ad format to perform better on social as well as follow Influenster's new brand guidelines.
